We’re humbled you see enough value in NorthStar to integrate to our platform. I wanted to share this email with you to let you know about next steps and generally how the process works.

First, the easiest way to integrate to NorthStar is to have a mutual client (or prospect) that requests the integration. Once we have established a need for the integration, we can proceed with the integration.

We will need a mutual NDA signed and sent back. Please fill out the form by clicking here.

NorthStar is proud to offer a published API for data output. Please contact your sales person or implementation representative and we can provide the necessary API documentation for your team to receive data.

If you a loyalty provider: please provide documentation of what the necessary changes would be to incorporate your software. Most times, loyalty integrations require direct integrations that result in changes to the UI. When we receive your request, we can provide the necessary information on how the interface will work.

If you are a web ordering solution: NorthStar has a published API to our solution. Please contact your sales person or implementation representative and we can provide the necessary information.

If you are a hardware provider or manufacturer: NorthStar certifies or integrates hardware based on our clients’ or resellers’ needs. If one of our clients or resellers are interested in utilizing your hardware and wishes to have it certified, CBS will need the equipment in our Irvine offices for no less than thirty (30) days. During this time, we will certify that the hardware will work with the NorthStar platform. If the client or reseller wishes to do their own certification, CBS reserves the right to charge additional fees for supporting any bugs or errors within the hardware interface.

There are no annual fees for the software interface to the client or to NorthStar. CBS reserves the right to change this at any time in the future. We also reserve the right to charge for the interface work to be completed.

In all cases, we request the following information to begin work on the interface:

  • Client considering or requesting the interface
  • Exact needs of the interface
  • Proposed timeline for interface needs and estimated go-live date

  • Custom Business Solutions Names Ann Tran as Director of Client Services

    (IRVINE, CA) 8.23.2019 – Custom Business Solutions (CBS), developers of NorthStar POS, the restaurant industry’s first iPad-based cloud point-of-sale system, announces today that Ann Tran has been promoted to the role of Director of Client Services.

    Ann joined Custom Business Solutions six years ago and has advanced in the company, assuming positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, she served as Implementation Services Manager with responsibility for project management, production/staging, database management and training. The implementation team serves clients nationwide as well as internationally through CBS’s engagement with clients in the cruise line industry. “Ann has consistently delivered world-class service to our clients on many projects over the years. Her leadership will continue to help CBS to achieve our objective of being the best partner to our clients in the restaurant technology industry.
