Scott Hickson Joins Custom Business Solutions as Chief Financial Officer

(IRVINE, CA) 3.22.2019– Custom Business Solutions (CBS), developers of NorthStar POS, the restaurant industry’s first iPad-based cloud point-of-sale system, officially announces today that Scott Hickson has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer.

Scott will be responsible for driving CBS’s economic growth and overseeing all financial operations. With more than 13 years of experience managing and growing companies in the technology sector, he has deep knowledge of financial, operations management, performance and risk management.

Prior to joining CBS, Scott was CFO of a SaaS tech ed company for seven years, helping them scale and grow. “We’re excited to welcome Scott to CBS,” says Art Julian, CEO of Custom Business Solutions. “He brings extensive financial, operational and strategic experience. This, combined with his deep knowledge of SaaS-operated companies, will be an asset to CBS as we enter our next phase of growth and innovation.”

Scott is originally from Seattle, WA, where he graduated with a degree in Accounting from the University of Washington.  He then moved to Southern California to earn an MBA from the University of Southern California.  When he isn’t busy crunching numbers and growing companies, Scott enjoys spending time with his three boys and being in the outdoors.
