Trade Show Updates
The trade show circuit has been in full swing, and we’ve had a busy start to the year! In April, we attended the following two shows.
TRUNOCon
TRUNOCon 2023 is a partner conference and niche specific to Grocerants. Bet you didn’t know that NorthStar works in Grocerants streamlining the prepared food sections for retailers and 3rd party delivery issues that they are facing.
Restaurant Leadership Conference
Once again Phoenix, AZ hosted the 2023 Restaurant Leadership Conference. A range of interesting discussions were hosted on the main stage at this highly engaging event, which brought restaurant leaders from across the country together. The topics covered were diverse, from Subway CEO John Chidsey’s open discussion about the sandwich chain’s previous mistakes (now rectified) and sale process, to Derek Jeter, the Yankees’ legendary figure, sharing his insights on parenting.
The complete sell-out of the conference further emphasized the significance of the topics discussed. During the event, a range of issues facing the restaurant industry were highlighted, such as labor challenges, ever-evolving technology trends, and the uncertain macroeconomic environment ahead.
