Irvine, CA— CBS NorthStar today announced that its Android Tablet Point of Sale application has been officially certified by MTech Technology Innovation Labs (Certificate No. CERT-20260422-0017). The evaluation, conducted between January and April 2026, confirmed that the NorthStar Android POS meets production requirements across core transaction processing, hardware integration, data synchronization, and network resilience.
Tested on 8-inch and 10-inch MPOS tablets and the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro, the solution passed. Key validated capabilities include: sales and void functions across all tablet form factors, receipt printing and cash drawer integration, graceful network recovery with clean resume-on-reconnect logic, role-based access restrictions, and backend data sync. Updates deploy only when no transactions are open, no mid-service disruptions.
